Hello, dear prospective donors!
My name is Jeroen van de Sande, although many people in Nijmegen and its environs may know me as Jerry. In the upcoming year, I will be taking on the role of Commissioner of Associations in the seventeenth board of the RAGweek Nijmegen foundation. At 24 years of age, I am the senior member of our group, so I will see what my wisdom can bring during the year. I have already put that wisdom into practice by obtaining my master’s degree in Communication and Information Sciences.
About three years ago, I packed my bags in Hilvarenbeek and moved to Nijmegen, where I immediately felt right at home. So much so that I switched football clubs and transferred to NSVV FC Kunde. At FC Kunde, I was warmly welcomed, and within half a year of my arrival, I applied for a position on the board, becoming a board member (Match Secretary) in the 2022/23 season. It was through my time at FC Kunde that I got in touch with the RAGweek. And here we are 😉
This year, I’m looking forward to meeting many colorful individuals from all the associations that make Nijmegen so special. If you can’t find me in the RAGroom, I’d recommend looking on the football pitch or any dance floor where they play techno music. Hopefully, I’ll get to know all of you soon, and together, we’ll aim for that record amount!
